Journey Students is our ministry to students 6th-12th grades
When do Teens meet?
All Students (6th-12th): On Wednesday Nights throughout the school year from 6:30-8:00 pm, we hold an event called ‘REFRESH.’ Open to all Journey Students (6th-12th grade), this is a great first introduction to church. Casual, fun, bible-centered, and free snacks! Please feel free to reach out to Paul at paul @journeybf.com for more information.
Preteens: Students in grades 4th-6th meet together on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM in the Living Room (in the portable). This meeting time creates a specific environment JUST for this age group. It will help tailor an experience for how they think, learn, feel, and grow in how they understand God and how the Bible relates to their life.
Middle School and High School: Middle School and High School students are encouraged to attend Sunday morning Worship Services to aid in their transition to attending church as an adult when they get out on their own. High schoolers also have the option to attend any of the small groups at The Journey that are open to them.
Is there a calendar of events?
You can access the church calendar and link to it HERE
What curriculum do you use?
We use a combination of in-house written material custom to our students as well as resources from Right Now Media.
A great resource for parents!
Parents can also download the Parent Cue app by clicking the image below. The Parent Cue app is a free resource parents can use to have faith-based conversations with their children at home. Learn more at https://theparentcue.org/app/.
